Pregnancy and motherhood are easily one of the most life-changing events that could happen to a woman. And it is truly one of the most beautiful.

Capturing the beauty, strength, and joy of this time through the art of photography is something I am so passionate about and I can't wait to photograph you.

The Process

When to Book

The best time to book your maternity session is between 29 and 35 weeks. You will be fairly mobile at this time and have a beautiful belly. However, if your schedule doesn't fit within this timeframe, let me know and we can work within your timeline. For motherhood sessions, anytime is a good time to book however, definitely think about what stage your baby is at. Are they a newborn? Can they hold their head up? Can they sit unassisted? The answers to these questions will determine the images we can get from our time together.

Kiana looked every bit the modern-day Cinderella for her school formal portraits - and I still can’t get over how stunning she was! We met at the beautiful Gunabul Homestead, and from the moment she stepped out in her light blue ballgown, complete with sparkling embellishments, silver heels, and layer upon layer of dreamy tulle, it was like a fairytale had come to life.

Her dress shimmered in the soft afternoon light, and the beading around her waist, shoulders, and back caught every ray just perfectly. With her hair and makeup beautifully styled and her family right there beside her - it was such a special session to capture.

Kiana’s parents and her brother joined us for the session, and it was so lovely to see how proud and excited they were for her. We had a few formal portraits to start, and then for a bit of fun (and a dash of chaos), her dad brought out a golf cart! That definitely added some laughter and light-hearted moments to the shoot and gave us the best little dose of personality among the elegance.

Kiana, you looked absolutely incredible, and I hope these portraits always remind you of such a big, beautiful milestone in your life. Thank you for letting me capture your fairytale moment!
