There’s something so timeless about school formal portraits - those final high school memories, all dressed up, with the people who helped you get there by your side. Caitlin’s session was a beautiful blend of elegance, family love, and just a touch of country charm.

Caitlin graduated from Gympie State High School in November 2024, and she absolutely shone in a vibrant blue gown that was made for her. The colour brought out her eyes and suited her complexion so perfectly - it was impossible to take a bad photo of her! Her hair was styled by the talented team at Aspire Hair, and her makeup was done by none other than her sister, Kirsten, who did an incredible job. It was such a lovely personal touch to have her sister involved in such a big milestone.

We photographed her session on her family’s farm in Kybong, using an old shed as the backdrop. The contrast of Caitlin’s formal elegance against the rustic charm of the shed created such striking visuals - soft and bold all at once. What made this session even more special was the company: her mum, dad, sister, and both grandmothers were there to cheer her on and be part of the moment. That kind of love and support? You can’t stage it - it just radiates in every photo.

After capturing those quiet, meaningful moments on the farm, we made a quick dash back into town to meet her formal partner, Isaac. The two posed together with the car they’d be arriving in - an incredible orange Torana that gave the whole vibe a punch of personality and nostalgia.
