Emily & Jake | School Formal Session

Emily and Jake’s formal session was something special - not just because they looked amazing (which they absolutely did), but because of the deep roots of friendship and family woven into every part of the afternoon.

We met at Emily’s parents’ property, where a beautiful patch of lush green grass and dappled light beneath the trees set the perfect stage. Emily wore a show-stopping blue and silver sequinned gown, paired with chunky silver heels that sparkled as much as her smile. Jake looked classic and sharp in a dark grey suit - a perfect complement to Emily’s look.

Their car for the evening? A beautifully kept dark brown Holden Premier that added an extra touch of vintage charm.

Emily and Jake have been friends for years, growing up side by side, and that comfortable, easygoing connection was so evident throughout their session. Emily was joined by her proud parents, brother, and grandparents, while Jake brought along his mum, sister, and grandmother. Since both families know each other well, we made sure to get everyone together for a big group photo - the kind that will bring back good memories for years to come.

It was a lovely afternoon celebrating two wonderful people, and I’m so glad I got to capture it.
