Dean & Tara's Beautiful Backyard Wedding

When I say I love backyard weddings, you have no idea how much I love backyard weddings. My own wedding was a backyard affair, so they hold a special place in my heart. There's something truly magical about celebrating love in a space so deeply connected to the couple's story.

Dean and Tara’s wedding was no exception. Held in Dean’s parents’ beautiful garden, their day was relaxed, intimate, and filled with heartfelt moments. With the sun shining and their closest family and friends gathered around, it was the perfect setting for a wedding that was all about love, laughter, and the start of a new chapter.

Tara looked absolutely gorgeous in her elegant lace-back gown from Luv Bridal and Formal, complemented by her natural and minimalistic style. She even did her own hair and makeup, adding a personal touch to her bridal look. Dean, looking dapper in a burgundy suit from Tarocash, couldn’t take his eyes off her. The moment he saw his bride walking down the aisle, you could see just how much she meant to him.

One of the most touching aspects of the day was how much it reflected them as a couple. From the DIY decorations put together by family and friends to the special role their little son Oliver played as the ring bearer, everything about the wedding was deeply personal. And, in a beautiful surprise, many of their guests found out that Tara was expecting! It was such a special moment to capture as they celebrated not just their marriage but the exciting journey ahead as their family grows.

After the ceremony, we wandered through the garden for portraits, making the most of the gorgeous greenery and the charming swing nestled among the trees. You could see how much these two love each other in every little glance, every laugh, and the way they fit so perfectly together. Their bond is undeniable, and it was a privilege to document such a genuine connection.

As the sun began to set, the reception kicked off with delicious food, heartfelt toasts, and plenty of celebration. Tara and Dean shared a beautiful first dance, surrounded by the warmth of their loved ones, and later cut into a cake that perfectly matched their relaxed yet elegant vibe.
